Adult Ministries at Covenant Presbyterian Church

It is God’s word that sustains us. If you are not part of a small group or study please consider joining one. “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” Romans 10:17- while the application is to salvation, it extends to believers as we are strengthened and encouraged in and through the Word of God. “…but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”

Essentials of Christian Doctrine

It is necessary for Jesus' followers to grasp the essentials of our Christian faith. Christian Doctrine is an eight-week class that will nurture your understandings of Christianity, and participants will leave with a deepened understanding of the Bible, theology, and allow for spiritual reflection. Classes will be held on Thursdays in the Van Wyk Room at Covenant Presbyterian Church beginning on Sept 27th, at two different times 2:00pm - 3:00pm. Another section of the class will meet from 6:30pm - 7:30pm (each section will need a minimum of 5 students to proceed).  For more information, or to register, contact Kevin Starcher.

Instructor: Rev. Dr. Kevin Starcher.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Bible Studies are in-depth, inductive studies in an easy-to-follow, daily format that takes approximately one hour per day. When you’re ready to intimately understand the whole counsel of God, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, you’re ready for Precept Upon Precept. Classes are on Tuesdays from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 am – 11:15 am, September through May. (Childcare is available on Wednesday.)

Women's Ministries

Women’s groups give the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups, located in several locations throughout our community, are times of Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.
